Note that Visa $50 gift cards have been added to the list this month! Call the office if you would like further information about the Manna program. Orders can be turned in at church or dropped off at the church office.
Summer Arts and Music Event planning meeting will be on Saturday, March 2 at noon. Anyone interested in helping with the event should plan on attending the meeting. Lots of help will be needed at this event, as well as pre-event planning. Join us!
Mark your calendars! The Learning Team, along with Pastor Suzanne, will be holding two meetings to discuss their upcoming program, "Making Disciples." The meetings will be held Monday, March 4 at 7:00pm or Thursday, March 7 at 7pm. Those interested in the program need only attend one meeting. This program is one that we've used for our Confirmation youth and it has been discussed for many years that we bring it to the adults in the church too. So, we're finally doing it. The program will kick off in May. We think this is a great way for us to "dig deeper" into the gifts and talents of our congregation, as well as deepen our relationships we one another. Please come to one of these informational meetings. Have questions? Please join us.

Recap from last Sunday: On the second Sunday of Lent, we talked about being citizens of heaven living in this world; of being in, but not of, this world. Using Paul's words from Philippians 3:17-4:1, we talked about the challenges of living in this in-between place and how we need to balance our focus on being citizens of heaven with our service to this world in which we live now. Pastor Suzanne reminded us that the season of Lent offers an opportunity for self-reflection and she encouraged us to think about how we see ourselves and our place in this world, even as we think about our lives in heaven.
Preview of this Sunday: This Sunday, we'll be hearing several Scriptures including those that talk about finding life, standing strong even in the midst of temptation, and what it means to be fruitful…and is there a timeline for fruitfulness. We hope you'll join us for another lively discussion on both the Old and New Testaments as we delve deeper into God's Word together. All are welcome!
We are working on the Rod and Staff newsletter for you to get in church on Sunday. In the meantime, please feel free to call the office if you need any information. We're here to help and will be glad to answer your questions or hear your concerns. I'm wishing you peace, faith, hope, love, joy, and health always.
