WHAT'S HAPPENING AT GOOD SHEPHERD CHURCH

Good Afternoon!

Final set-up for our Garage Sale is going on now.  If you have any last minute donations, please bring them by so they can be included.  Also, we could still use some tables for display.  If you have any you would be willing to let us use, simply put your name on the bottom and bring it over.  We will return them after the sale, or you can pick your table(s) up from church on Sunday.  There is something for everyone available and all monies received will be going to our church.

It's Garage $ale time!  Our Garage $ale is tomorrow and Saturday at church.  Please contact Lori Haack, Judy Jordan, Bob Kirkland, Dawn Myers, or Wendy Ploense for more information.  We began setting up and pricing at church this afternoon at 1pm.  Donate your new or gently used clean clothing and/or household items.  Also, if you have any tables we can use for the sale, please mark your name on them and drop them off.  Thanks for your assistance and support!

Connection Café comments:  We have gotten away from people providing treats.  Wouldn't you like to treat your fellow worshipers?  How about for special occasions?  Cake, cookies, muffins, breads, that are store bought or homemade, whatever you wish.  Please coordinate this with Lori Haack.  Also, just a reminder that, when we are worshiping, the Café is closed.  Please be considerate and give your full attention to our worship time.  God watches over us 24/7.  We can give Him an uninterrupted hour.

Be watching for a letter in the mail regarding the Congregational Meeting that will be held following worship on Sunday, August 31st, and plan to attend to give your input as we make important decisions regarding the future of our church.  Going away for the Labor Day weekend?  Please take the time to contact one of our Council members with input you would like to share.

I am taking a few days of vacation and will be back in the office on Wednesday.  Remember Good Shepherd when you're garage sale-ing tomorrow and Saturday and for worship on Sunday!

Peace, hope, love, faith, grace, and health to you and your family.
