WHAT'S HAPPENING AT GOOD SHEPHERD CHURCH

Good Afternoon!

Wow!  February certainly came in like a lion, didn't it?  Wonder what March will bring us since that's supposed to be the "in like a lion" month.  I hope that everyone got notice ahead of time when we cancelled worship last Sunday.  If not, please be sure to get us current email information so we can update our records.

 Here's what's happening around Good Shepherd. . . . .

Sun. Feb 8-Connection Café at 8:30am with Worship at 9am

Sun. Feb 8-Manna orders will be delivered today

Sun. Feb 8-Reignite Teams meeting is tentatively scheduled to be held following Worship

Wed. Feb 11-Wednesday Bible Study will begin at 7pm at the church

Sat. Feb 14-Valentine's Day Event including dinner, live entertainment and more!

Sun. Feb 15-Connection Café at 8:30am with Worship beginning at 9:00am

Sun. Feb 15-Church Council will meet at 2pm

Mon. Feb 16-3rd Monday Study will take place at 7pm at the Sanchez' home

Wed. Feb 18-Ash Wednesday

Yay!  We had Bible Study Wednesday!  All are welcome to join us for Wednesday Bible Study   beginning at 7pm at the church.  There's an area available for children to play quietly or to do their homework.  You can never tell where our study will take us.

 

A big thank you to those who placed Manna orders which totaled $1,900 for February.  We realized a profit of $81.75 thanks to you.  Can we top that in March?  Remember there are always "generic" order forms available at the back of church for ease in ordering and sharing.  Orders are placed the first Sunday of the month and delivered to you by the following Sunday. 

Celebrate Valentine's Day with dinner and a movie at Good Shepherd beginning at 5pm.  Tickets are $8.00 per adult, with children under 12 free, and need to be purchased no later than Thursday, February 12th.  Flyers will be available in church on Sunday.  Mark your calendars now and invite your favorite Valentine(s) to join us for a night of food and fellowship fun.

Tomorrow will be my last day for two weeks of vacation time.  We're heading away from the snow to Myrtle Beach and indoor pools with lazy rivers, too.  I'm wishing everyone peace, faith, hope, love, grace, health, warmth and sunshine!  Oh, and also a Happy Valentine's Day.
