WHAT'S HAPPENING AT GOOD SHEPHERD CHURCH

Good Afternoon!

Are you ready for a fantastic weather weekend?  It will be the last weekend my husband Greg and I spend in our camper for the season.  I talked him into this last weekend and am thankful it will be pleasant weather-wise!

Here's What's Happening around Good Shepherd Church . . .

Fri. Nov 7-Crafter's Night starts at 7pm  Bring your project and join the fun!

Reignite is the name for our 90 Day Teams.  Come help reignite Good Shepherd Church on November 6th.  Their meeting is at 7pm at the church.  All are invited to join in helping mold the future of Good Shepherd Church.  There are different areas of interest that would welcome additional support.  Come join the meeting and offer your assistance.

Are you interested in Crafts?  We have a group that meets together at church to work on their various craft projects, as well as socializing and sharing their "crafty" abilities.  Stop by and bring your project(s) along!  All are always welcome.

Manna November order forms are available now.   Manna cards are a safe way to spend without carrying cash or worrying about your credit card being hacked by a security breach.  There are several vendor cards that will suit everyone's needs, and they make excellent gifts as well.  Best of all, you only pay the face value of the card and never have any extra fees added.  We realized an $84.62 profit in October.  Check out the newest form and consider placing an order.  Call the office (815-886-4354) if you have any questions about the program and we'll be glad to help out.  Thanks!

Do you know of anyone interested in having a table at our third annual Vendor's Fair coming to Good Shepherd on November 15th?  Plans are underway now with the cost of a table being $25 plus 10% (or more) of the actual sales.  Sale hours are 9am to 2pm with set-up beginning at 8am.  Please have them contact Judy Jordan or Lori Haack for further details and/or a Vendor's contract.  We have several vendors who have scheduled to participate in this year's event.  The more we have, the greater the opportunity for a variety of special one of a kind gifts.  Plan to be there for this unique gift-buying experience, and bring others with you as well!

Remember that you can check Good Shepherd's Facebook page for the latest news or updates, as well as calling the church office (815-886-4354).  Be sure to leave a message if there's no answer and someone will get back to you.  Also, please email me (revassistant@gmail.com) if you prefer not to get this weekly What's Happening report.

I am wishing peace, hope, love, faith, grace, and health for everyone!  Have a great weekend.
