APRIL 30, 2015 WHAT'S HAPPENING AT GOOD SHEPHERD CHURCH

Good Afternoon!

Our office and church are under the same roof now!  While all the boxes aren't unpacked, there is a working office once again.  In some respects, I am sorry to be leaving, but retirement beckons!  Many, many, many thanks to each and every one of you for being a part of the best job I have had in my lifetime.  Thanks also for your good wishes and generosity last Sunday.

Here's What's Happening around Good Shepherd. . .

Thu. April 30-Pastoral Assistant's retirement day!

Sun. May 3-Connection Café opens at 8:30am and Worship beginning at 9am

Sun. May 3-May Manna orders and payments are due today

Tue. May 5-M & M's Women's Bible Study meets at Jan Sanchez' home at 7pm

Wed. May 6-Pastry Puffins delivery

Thu. May 7-National Day of Prayer

Sun. May 10-Connection Café at 8:30am followed by Worship at 9:00am

May 14 – 15 – 16  Garage Sale time!  

Sun. May 17-Connection Café at 8:30am followed by Worship at 9:00am

Mon. May 18-3rd Monday Study at 7pm at the home of George and Jan Sanchez

Wed. May 20-Church Council reports are due for Sunday's meeting

Sun. May 24-Connection Café opens at 8:30am with Worship at 9:00am

Sun. May 24-Church Council Meeting at 2:00pm

Mon. May 25-M E M O R I A L   D A Y

Manna orders for May are due by Sunday, May 3rd and will be delivered on Sunday, May 10th which is also Mother's Day.  Look over the form and see what you'd like to order as gifts for your mother, yourself or for others.  Graduation time is coming too!  Take the worry out of selecting gifts by giving a "self selecting" Manna card as a gift and make everyone happy!

Now it is time for me to gather all my mementos and clear off the desk for the last time.  We have been through lots of happy and sad times together, and I promise that I will not be a stranger.  As always, I'm wishing peace, hope, love, grace, patience, thankfulness and health for everyone.
